Long overdue for a release the Doug Liman directed Sci-Fi movie finally gets a release in the Uk on April 2nd and is given a 12 age rating in the UK by the BBFC.
The movie stars Tom Holland of Spider-Man fame and Daisy Ridley of Star Wars fame and follow a young woman who crash lands her space ship on a planet where you can visually see the thoughts of men.
Chaos Walking is a young adult science fiction series written by novelist Patrick Ness, the first was published in 2008 and was called The Knife of Never Letting Go.
Story synopsis
In Prentisstown, Todd has been brought up to believe that the Spackle released a germ that killed all the women and unleashed Noise on the remaining men.
After discovering a patch of silence out in the swamp, his surrogate parents immediately tell him that he has to run, leaving him with only a map of New World, a message, and many unanswered questions. He soon discovers the source of the silence: a girl, named Viola.

After making a mark for herself in the DC universe with the successful Wonder Woman and the soon to be released Wonder Woman 1984, director Parry Jenkins is directing a spin off Star Wars movie Rogue Squadron.
No more details were given at Disneys Investors Convention on December 10th but the image shows an X-Wing fighter and as we know Rogue Squadron was a Rebel Alliance starfighter squadron in the original Star Wars.
The spin off movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was named after this call sign.
That film which was well received by fans was based before the original Star Wars movie, no this could likely be about the formation of the squad and go into more detail about that time in the first film, with crossovers.
The movie isn't set for release until December 2023 and joins the already announced movies being directed by Thor Ragnorak director Taika Waititi.

As cinema doors remain closed and those which do open are have very limit capacity the need for a big hit is groweing ever more evident as Tenet remains at the top of the US box office for a 4th weekend.
There was a major shift in release dates last week with many Marvel film moving to 2021 and it looks like the next big hit will be the Bond movie No Time To Die in mid November, unless that moves as well!
With little to excite consumers here is the mini breakdown of the US box office.

Christopher Nolan's movie that should have saved cinema after the COVID-19 shutdown spends a 4th weekend at the top with its latest gross of $3.4 Million, 28% down from last weekend.
The movie has now taken a quite reasonable $41.2 Million and should go over $50 quite easily, and if it can keep going into December maybe even $60 Million.
Still doing well in the current climate is ill fated Disney mutant movie which remains at number 2 this weekend with $1.1 Million, down 37% from last weekend.
A five week run has given the movie $19.4 Million in total grosses in the US.
South Korean pop sensation BTS bring their concert movie to the big screen this week and is the top new movie at 3 with $1 Million.
The movie is has the longest run on the box office this week and takes $1 Million on its 7th weekend of release.
The low budget movie has now taken $17 Million in the US and could potentially take $20 Million before it run ends.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary the original Star Wars sequel gets a re-release on the big screen and lands at 5 with $908K, it has grossed $292.1 Million in the US since its 1980 release.
