Cinemas across the globe are still largely closed due to COVID-19 but some cinemas in America and globally are starting to open.
Drive-in theatres where there are 305 across America with 549 screen have opened and also Norway and South Korea are still report box office charts.
The US chart only has five film so here are the figures from those movies where distributers have reported figures and also a global chart compiled from the countries that have released data.
US Box Office
Directed by Brett Pierce and Drew T. Pierce this horror movie got well received by critics when released on VOD in other countries and is doing well in drive-in move theatres across America as it take $89,608 over the weekend.
The movie got its debut last weekend and has made $165,294 in total to date at the box office.
Starring Beanie Feldstein and Emma Thompson this comedy made its debut this weekend so in essence is the highest new film with $13,201.
The film went direct to VOD a few weeks ago and its impossible to tell how much it will make on its "box office" run.
Starring Tuppence Middleton this drama set around Niagara Falls takes $1,764 over the weekend for a $23,679 total,
Released back in late April this drama is directed by Justin Kurzel and takes $1,456 over the weekend for a $32,496 total after 2 weeks of release.
Released on 6th March this drama stars Elizabeth Debicki and Donald Sutherland and takes $45 over the weekend for a $39,633 total after 9 weeks.
Global Box Office
Directed by Woody Allen this New York based movie was release in South Korea this week where it is the top film and took $339,633 from 563 cinemas.
The film is set to be released on streaming on 5th June in the UK but has taken $344,283 to date.
Making its debut again in South Korea the Daniel Radcliffe starring movie took $136,250, globally the movie has taken $176,208 to date.
One of the most controversial movie in recent times the Trolls followup in from Universal, the controversy is not due to the content but the fact that its success on VOD has lead Universal to think about which film it releases in cinemas and which film it releases on both at the same time, a move AMC and Cinemark have not been happy with.
The film takes $126,662 (from South Korea) on its debut and has actually taken $2.6 Million globally since release on 6th April 2020.
There are no major blockbusters being released during this time so cinema chains are looking to fill their screens with older movies and so this 26 year old movie is the fourth top film this week.
The movie makes $111,157 from its single country release but the film has taken $5.6 Million globally since its initial release.
This Asian movie directed by Mengying Dai and Tong Zhou is at number 5 and takes $73,635 over the weekend, it has taken $2.6 Million since release on 21st June 2019 in China where it has grossed $2.1 Million.
The top film in Norway was Onwards which took $17,208 which places it at number 11 on the global box office this week, it has taken $104,080,103 globally.

It was a second weekend at the top for Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs And Shaw with the only challenge coming from Disney's The Lion King, Chinese film Line Walker 2 was the top new film.
The summer action crowd pleaser starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham knocks up a second weekend at the global box office with a gross of $86.2 Million from 67 countries.
This puts the films total gross at $322.6 Million after its second weekend of release but there are some big markets still to come like China where The Fast And The Furious movies have always done well.
Disney's live actio movie is at 2 and takes $71.4 Million on its 5th weekend of release from 55 countries which puts its total global gross at an amazing $1.33 Million.
There is some debate of the film qualifies or not but this could be seen as the most successful animated movie of all time.
The Chinese animated movie falls to 3 this week with a weekend gross of $64.4 Million and the film is still only release in a single country.
Amazingly this puts the film total gross at $507.3 Million and is China's 5th highest grossing movie of all time.
Also doing well in the Asian market is fire fighting movie The Bravest which takes $28.8 Million this weekend from 4 markets to push its total global gross to $163.6 Million.
From director Jazz Boon comes sequel movie Line Walker 2 which is the top new entry on the global chart this week with $27.8 Million from 4 markets this weekend taking its total gross to $61.0 Million since release.

It was a tight fought battle at the top of the UK box office this weekend between Night School and last weeks top film The House With A Clock In Its Walls but the new comer won in the end.
Taking iver at the top the new romantic comedy starring Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish took the top with £1.59 million, a very slim margin of £0.05million.
Kevin Hart has appeared in some high profile film including Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle so this is a fairly low opening for him, for Tiffany Haddish who starred is the £8 million Girls Trip from 2017 this will go down as her second highest grossing film in the UK.
Taking top honors that week the Jack Black starring film nearly repeated this week but gets knocked down to 2 taking £1.54 million for the weekend, this boosts the films total to £5.5 million after 2 weeks.
The Paul Feig directed film falls to number 3 this week with just over a million pound weekend gross which takes to films UK gross to £3.4 million after 2 weeks.
The American smash hit comedy is still doing well in the UK, although not bringing in the same success as across the pond, but a £0.7 million weekend puts the film at number 4 this week and boosts the total gross to £4.8 million.
Halloween may be just around the corner but this horror film will be out the charts by then, sitting at 5 this week with a £0.6 million weekend brings it to a very respectable £10.5 million UK gross.
The sequel has done amazingly well in the UK and is the top total grossing film again this week, dropping to number 13 this week the film has a UK total gross of £65 million.
It probably wont outgross the original movie's £69 million which for a time was the UK's top film but it will be in the same ball park.

The big film of the week is from director Eli Roth who is more known for his gore slasher and violent movies, but here delivers a family friendly tale of magic and wonder.
The film stars Jack Black and Cate Blanchet and makes its debut on the UK box office with £3.3 million, for Black and Blanchet who have starred in some big profile movies this is a low gross but for Roth this is a good opening weekend.
Also new this weekend is A Simple Favour from director Paul Feig, it is his first directing outing since the critically panned Ghostbusters reboot from 2016.
Opening to £1.6 million it does well for the director, the film stars Anna Kendrick and Linda Cardellini.
Doing well at number 3 is King Of Thieves which takes £1.5 million on its second weekend to bring the Michael Cain film to £3.7 million total.
Crazy Rick Asians has a good second weekend at number 4 on the box office and takes £1.1 million, down only a small amount from last weeks debut, this brings the film to £3.5 million total gross.
Finally at number 5 is horror film The Nun which takes £1 million for the weekend taking its total gross to just under the 10 million pound mark.
Last weeks number 1 film takes a massive tumble down the chart this week to number 7, its total gross is now £3.8 million after a £0.6 million weekend.

All change at the top of the US box office again this week as Eli Roth has the biggest debut of his career with The House With A Clock In Its Walls.
Jack Black and Cate Blanchett star in the kids magical fantasy witch takes $26 million on its debut weekend.
Also new this week and coming in at number 2 is Paul Feig's new directorial movie A Simple Favour, the film takes $10 million on its debut.
Still performing well at number 3 is The Nun which takes $10.2 million this weekend to brings its total US gross to just over $100 million on its third week of release.
Falling hard this week is The Predator which made its debut at the top last week, this week it falls to 4 with a $8 million weekend to brings its total to $40 million.
To finish off the top 5 is Crazy Rich Asians which has done incredibly well in the US having a total gross of $159 million after a $ 6.5 million sixth weeeknd.
