Alice Through the Looking Glass
After 4 weeks at the top of the UK home video chart Captain America is toppled by Alice Through The Looking Glass which makes its debut.

Alice Through The Looking Glass is the sequel to Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland and was released on 5th August 2016. The film entered the UK box office at number 2 with a debut gross of £2.2 million, it failed to remove X Men Apocalypse which remained at the top.

The film did reasonably well on the box office hand hung around for 7 weeks on the top 15 before spending another 15 weeks hanging around the lower reaches of the box office.

The film made an excellent £9.9 million is total UK grosses, although compared to Alice in Wonderland which made £42 million its relatively small.

This is the first week os Disney having a big video sale and as always they have a bog impact on the video chart with 5 re-entries inside the top 10, and if you count Marvel and live action remakes they have 8 of the top 10 films.

Also new this week is Money Monster at number 9, When Marnie Was There at number 13 and Mothers Day at number 14.
