Dune (2021) is given a 12A age rating in the UK for moderate violence, threat, bloody images

Director Denis Villeneuve brings his vision of Frank Herbert's novel Dune to the big screen which has been given a 12A rating by the BBFC for moderate violence, threat, bloody images.

The movie stars Timoth�e Chalamet as Paul Atreides and Zendaya as Chani in lead roles with Oscar Issac also in a starring role.

The movie is directed by Denis VIlleneuve who also directed Blade Runner 2049 in 2017.

Movie Synopsis

Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence, only those who can conquer their own fear will survive.
