The James Gunn directed The Suicide Squad climbs to the top of the global box office as it gets its North American debut.

There were no new releases on the global box office top 10 this weekend although Fast and Furious 9 did get a large boost in its weekly gross as it gets a Chinese release.

Starring Margot Robbie and Idris Elba among an all star cast, the second interpretation of the comic boob material makes its debut at number 10 last weekend and this week after a North American debut makes it to the top of the global box office.

The movie takes $61.5 Million from 71 countries, a massive 89% increase over last weekend, giving the film a total gross of $72.2 Milllion after 2 weeks on the box office.

Jungle Cruise

The Disney movie based on a ride falls to number 2 this weekend with a global gross of $30.7 Million over the weekend from 50 countries, a 50% drop, giving the movie a 2 week gross of $121.8 Million.

Raging Fire

The Chinese hit movie is still only released in the single country and this week falls to 3 on the global box office, but it still took $21.5 Million, a 42% drop over last weekend.

The movie has now taken $82.3 Million over its 2 weeks of release.

Fast & Furious 9

Fast & Furious 9

The latest movie from The Fast Saga has been on the box office for 12 weeks now and this week gets a boost from a Chinese release, it jumps from 8 to 4 and takes $13.2 Million from 62 countries, a 19% increase over last week.

The movies global gross now sits at $661 Million and its the third highest global movie of 2021.

Escape From Mogadishu

Another movie jumping up the chart from 9 to number 5, the movie is only released in China and this week takes $9.5 Million, a slim 8% drop over last weekend, giving the film a total of $16 Million after 2 weeks of release.
