A new adaptation of the classic novel Little Women hits UK cinemas in December and the BBFC have given the movie a U age rating.

The movie is directed by Greta Gerwig and stars among a stellar line up Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Meryl Streep.

The film has a release date in the UK of December 26 while the US release is a day earlier on 25th December.

The BBFC have given the film a U rating for very mild threat and it has an official runtime of 134 minutes (2 hours and 14 minutes), the movie was passed uncut.
