After the success of the previous Mortal Kombat movies a sequel was going to follow, Mortal Kombat II has been given a 15 age rating for strong bloody violence, infrequent very strong language.

The movie stars Karl Urban who has previously been in I Object and The Sea Beast, it also stars Ludi Lin who has been seen in Aquaman and Mortal Kombat.

The movie is directed by Simon McQuoid who has previously directed the first Mortal Kombat movie in this series.
