New movie preview weekend April 2nd 2021: Chaos Walking and Godzilla Vs. Kong lead the way for streaming movies this weekend

This weekend has a couple of big hitters making their way to streaming services that have been delayed for months due to the lockdown in the UK.

Godzilla Vs. Kong and Chaos Walking are both potential blockbusters that have missed out on a place in movie theatres due to the over crowding that is happening later in the year due to delayed films.

Chaos Walking

• The movie is directed by Doug Liman
• Doug Liman also directed Locked Down in 2021.
• It stars Tom Holland who last starred in Cherry (2021).
• The film also stars Daisy Ridley who last appeared in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).

The Mauritanian

• This new release stars Tahar Rahim who's last film was The Kindness of Strangers (2019)
• It also stars Nouhe Hamady Bari who is making a feature film debut.
• The film is brought to us by veteran director Kevin Macdonald.

Godzilla Vs. Kong

• The movie is directed by Adam Wingard who directed Death Note in 2017.
• It stars Alexander Skarsgård and Millie Bobby Brown.

Minari

• Also this week there is Minari from director Lee Isaac Chung who also directed Abigail Harm in 2012.
• The film features Alan S. Kim and Yeri Han in starring roles.
