Mortal Kombat
A new trailer and poster has been released for upcoming movie Mortal Kombat, both of which can seen in full below.

The movie is directed by Simon McQuoid and has a cast including the likes of Jessica Mcnamee and Hiroyuki Sanada, while the release date of the film is 16th April 2021.

The trailer gives all the characters a few seconds of screen time to show off their skills and demonstrate their fatality moves while giving a breakdown of the story.

Synopsis of the movie

Mortal Kombat is a mysterious, intergalactic tournament of ancient martial arts. Shaolin Monk Liu Kang, from Earth, gets invited as a competitor.

A washed-up mixed martial arts fighter named Cole Young is unaware of his hidden lineage or why he is being hunted down by Sub-Zero of the Lin-Kuei clan of assassins. Concerned for the safety of his family, he seeks out a clique of fighters that were chosen to defend Earthrealm in a high-stakes battle against the forces of Outworld
