The Angry Birds Movie
Those loveable but very annoyed birds take over at the top of the UK video chart on their debut week of release.

The Angry Birds Movie was released on 13th May 2016 and hit the number 2 spot on its debut with £2.1 million it was kept off the top spot by Captain America: Civil War.

The film was a massive hit at the box office and on its second weekend of release grossed £2 million, tis very rare for a film to have such a small drop on its second weekend.

An 11 week run on the box office gave the film an incredible £10.4 million gross in the UK and its the 487th top grossing film in the UK.

Globally the film took $346.4 million and is the 293rd top grossing film, these numbers almost guarantee a sequel.

Warcraft falls from the top last week down to the number 3 slot this week after a single week.

Also new is The Conjuring 2 The Enfield Case at number 2, The Take at number 6 and Cell at number 11.
