Video game adaptation The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been given a PG age rating in the UK for mild violence, threat.

The animated movie features the voise of Chris Pratt who is most known for the Guardians of the Galaxy series of movie but has also lent his voice to Onward, it also stars Anya Taylor Joy who has been in The Northman and The Secret of Marrowbone.

The movie is directed by Aaron Horvath who has previously directed Teen Titans Go! to The Movies and Michael Jelenic who is making a feature film debut.
