UK Box Office Weekend Report 11th - 13th March 2022: Batman remains at the top of the UK box office for a second weekend with super group BTS the top new movie at number 3

The Batman stays at hte top of the UK box office for a second weekend as its weekend gross drops 45% but it still far out grosses the rest of the top 15 again.

Highest new movie of the weekend is the event movie BTS: Permission to Dance On Stage - Seoul: Live Viewing which comes in at number 3 while Indian movie Radhe Shyam is also new at number 9 with £186,705.

Spending a second weekend at the top of the UK box office is the DC Universe movie directed by Matt reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as The Dark Knight which takes £7.2 Million, a 45% drop over last weekend.

The movie takes 61% of the weekend box office top 15 takings and is the second top movie of 2022 so far, there is a chance it will take the top spot of the year by next weekend.

Uncharted

The Tom Holland starring video game adaptation remains at number 2 for a second weekend with just ave a million pound, a very good 21% drop over last week.

This gives the movie a total UK gross of £21 Million after 5 weeks and making it the 4th top movie of 2022.

Highest new movie of the weekend is an event movie from super group BTS which this weekend lands at number 3 with £899,126.

The band were previously on the UK box office in 2018 with their concert movie Love Yourself In Seoul: BTS World Tour 2019 which was a top 10 hit for a weekend with a gross of £518,809.

The mega smash hit animated sequel falls to number 4 this weekend with £819,153 on its 7th weekend, a 21% drop, giving the movie a total UK gross of £31 Million and making it the top movie of 2022 so far.

The Duke

The Roger Michell directed movie falls to number 5 on its 5th weekend of release with £500,749, a 27% drop, giving it a new total gross of £3.8 Million.
