UK Box Office Weekend Report 25th - 27th August 2023: Barbie makes it 6 weeks at the top while the latest Andre Rieu concert is the top new feature of the weekend

Barbie is now starting to be in the running for longest ever number 1 movie, a record currently held by Titanic with 14 weeks, as the movie stays at the top for a 6th weekend.

The Greta Gerwig directed movie is also getting close to a milestone that only 2 other movies have achieved, Skyfall in 2012 and Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015, grossing over £100 Million at the UK box office, Barbie has so far grossed £90 Million.

Oppenheimer is one again at number 2 this weekend with a total UK gross of over £50 Million.

Top new movie of the weekend is the live concert event feature André Rieu's 2023 Maastricht Concert: Love Is All Around from the ever popular world famous violinist.
