Barbie spends a third weekend at the top of the UK box office this weekend and in the process takes over at the top grossing film of the year out grossing The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

The Greta Gerwig movie has now taken over £67.5 Million at the UK box office and is showing no sign of slowing down, it is second top grossing movie in the UK by a female director with Mamma Mia! from director Phyllida Lloyd being the top, but Barbie should take that by next weekend.

Highest new movie of the weekend is Meg 2: The Trench which comes in at number 3 with £3.7 Million, a tiny increase over The Meg's £3.6 Million debut.
