300 Rise of an Empire was released in the Uk on 7th March this year and entered the box office at the top of the chart with a debut weekend gross of £2.8 million.
The film hung around the chart 5 weeks making a steady slide down the chart with each week, ending it's run on 4th April with a total gross of £7.7 million.
Across the world it did well taking a global gross of $331 million and is the 268th highest grossing movie of all time.
Last weeks top film, Legends of Oz Dorothys Return, makes a spectacular fall to number 13 on this week list.
Worth a strong mention this week is Disney's dominance, with a 2 for 1 sale on their disks at the moment they hold 11 places on the top 20, as well as Frozen climbing back up to number 2.
