On its debut weekend the film made £19.3 million at the UK box office placing it well and truly on the top spot.
The film hung around for a reasonable 10 weeks on the UK box office and managed to make an incredible £63.6 million in UK cinemas.
This total means its the 8th top grossing film ever in the UK behind Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone and in front of The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring.
The film also did amazingly well across the globe and is currently the 3rd highest grossing film of all time with a $1.6 billion gross, behind Titanic and infant of this years Fast and Furious 7.
With such a massive film being released on video no other studio dared to go up against it so there are no other new films o the video chart this week.
