In North America this week Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is still the top film of the week although a strong showing from The Purge Anarchy brought it in at number 2.

For a second straight week the Dawn of the Apes took the top spot in the US taking $36 million in the process this now takes the film total gross to $72.6 million during it's release.

The Purge Anarchy made a strong debut at 2 with $28.4 million, the sequel to the 2013 film didn't do as well as that films $34 million opening which debut at number 1.

Also new on the US box office this week is: - Plane Fire and Rescue at number 3 - Sex Tape (disappointingly) at 4
