With Halloween just around the corner it's time for the horror films to come out, no Saw or Paranormal Activity this year which leaves the door open for a potential franchise.

Ouija has the honour this year and duly opens up in the top spot with a weekend take of $20 million.

Last weeks top film, Fury, falling down into third place this week after a single week at the top, it's gross to date $23.7 million.

Also having a strong debut on this weeks chart, at two, is Keanu Reeves new starring vehicle John Wick, goos review took it to second on the chart with $14.1 million.
