US Box Office Weekend Report 21st - 23rd July 2023: Barbie beats Oppenheimer to the top of the US box office with a $162 Million debut gross

Barbie is the top new movie this weekend in the US box office as the Greta Gerwig directed movie takes over $162 Million on its debut.

Oppenheimer completes the Barbenheimer weekend as it comes in at number 2 with other $82 Million which is a new record for a Christopher Nolan directed movie.

Sound of Freedom continues to pull in audiences as it drops to number 3 this weekend with a small 27% drop making the top 3 movies this weekend original IP's with no sequel in sight.
