Quantum of Solace
It's good to see that the Americans still have a passion for that British favourite James Bond as the latest movie, Quantum of Solace, in the long running franchise tops the US box office.

Not only has it topped the US film chart but it did so quite convincingly taking in over $70 million dollars in its first weekend, and also it actually got slightly better reviews than it did her in the UK.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

To be fair there wasn't a lot of competition for the Daniel Craig starring action film, Madagascar Escape 2 Africa which fell to number 2 took less than half the Bond take.
