UK Box Office Weekend Report 29th - 31st December 2023: Wonka sees out 2023 with a 4th weekend at the top of the UK box office

Wonka spends its fourth weekend at the top of the UK box office as 2023 comes to an end with a total gross os £43.8 Million, it also ends up as the 4th top grossing movie of the year.

The movie comes in behind Barbie, Oppenheimer and The Super Mario Bros. Movie with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 coming in 5th.

Highest new movie of the weekend is Ferrari which comes in at number 2 with a debut gross of £1.9 Million.

Also worthy of mention is Hayao Miyazaki directorial finale The Boy and the Heron which makes its debut at number 4.
