Wicked Part 1
The big screen version of the stage show Wicked which has been in production for many years, will be slit into 2 movies.

Director Jon M. Chu who has been on board for a year or so now has released an open letted explaining that the writing has proved impossible to squeeze into a single movie.

He explains that too much of a compromise was being made so the decision was made for a Wicked Part 1 and Wicked Part 2.

Wicked

The story is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz and is set to star Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, it has been a hit West End and Broadway music and came out in 2003.

The open letter announces the first movie will be released holiday season, December 25th, 2024, and expect the second part a year later, December 25th 2025 in North America, expect the UK release to be December 26th 2024 and 2025.
