The long in production sequel to the highest grossing movie of all time, Avatar has a name, and as rumoured its Avatar: The Way of Water.

The movie will see the return of directing for James Cameron who has not directed since Avatar in 2009, his previous movies include Titanic 1998 and Terminator 2: Judgment Day 1991.

As Disney own this property since their 20th Century Fox acquisition the first trailer for the movie will debut with Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness which is due in cinemas next week.

The movie is due for release on 16th December 2022
It stars among others Michelle Yeoh and Zoe Saldana
