Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
There was never going to be any doubt that Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker was going to be big on its release, the question was how big, and actually it has disappointed a bit.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

The final instalment in the Star Wars Skywalker saga hits the top of the global box office in its debut weekend with $375 Million from 57 countries.

This is perhaps a disappointing debut for such a high profile film like Star Wars and Disney may perhaps have been looking for a bigger debut, it is the lowest debut of the sequel trilogy.

The film got a closer to Christmas release and traditionally at this time of year films take longer to get to their total gross.

Jumanji: The Next Level

The Karen Gillan and Dwayne Johnson sequel movie falls to number 2 this week with a weekend gross of $58.7 Million from 53 countries which brings its total gross to $311.9 after 3 weeks.

IP Man 4

IP Man 4: The Finale

The fourth in the IP Man series of films, and supposedly the last, hit the global box office at number 3 this week with $51.5 Million from 7 countries.

With previews the film has taken $52.2 Million so far.

Frozen II

Disney's sequel smash hit takes $43.9 Million from 49 countries as it falls to number 4 on the box office.

The film now has a total gross of $1.1 Billion after 5 weeks of release as it fast approaches the global gross of the first Frozen movie.

Sheep Without A Shepherd

The Chinese hit film falls to number 5 with $23.9 Million from 2 countries for a 2 week total of $77.4 Million.
