The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

The latest movie in the now long running Conjuring Universe hits the top of the US box office on its debut weekend with a gross of $6.2 Million.

Spirit Untamed

New at number 4 is the animated movie which is a sequel to the almost forgotten 2002 movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.

Raya and the Last Dragon

Disney's animated tale spends another week inside the top 5, at number 5 with $1.3 Million, a 35% drop from last weekend.

The movie has now taken $53.5 Million, and even more amazing this weekend is that its now available on Disney+ without paying the extra $30 for the privilege!

This weekend The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It makes it debit at the top of the UK box office and knocks Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway into second place after a week at the top.

Also new this week as the US public get used to going to the cinema again is Cruella at number 3 and the Japanese animated global smash Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train at number 4.

A Quiet Place Part II

Sequel to the 2018 movie A Quiet Place director John Krasinski takes us on another journey in the post apoplectic where a slightest sound can cost you your life.

The movie takes an amazing $48.3 Million on its debut weekend which is only 5% lower that the fist movie, and as cinemas are still not 100% open across the country you can see why the studio wanted to delay the movie.

Excellent word of mouth will take this movie through the summer and it has already become not only the summer blockbuster to see this year but a horror classic.

Cruella

Disney release the Cruella De'vil origin movie on Disney+ premium as well as at theatres wich may have damaged its box office potential slightly.

Still the Emma Stone starring movie wakes a excellent $21.3 Million on its debut and enters the box office at number 2.
