This weekend has a couple of big hitters making their way to streaming services that have been delayed for months due to the lockdown in the UK.
Godzilla Vs. Kong and Chaos Walking are both potential blockbusters that have missed out on a place in movie theatres due to the over crowding that is happening later in the year due to delayed films.
16th March 2021
Another film which has had its release date moved about quite a bit, the battle of the big monsters from Warner Bros. Godzilla Vs. Kong which has been given a 12A certificate in the UK by the BBFC.
The movie is a continuation of sort of the 2017 movie Kong: Skull Island and the 2019 movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
This time the two oversized creatures battle it out in a big city before going in search of the mighty titans that live under the earths surface.
Story synopsis
Legends collide in “Godzilla vs. Kong” as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe.
The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.
