Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings made it 3 weeks at the top of the UK box office as the MCU's latest hero has no challange from new releases.
The highest new movie of the week is the Polish movie Small World from director Patryk Vega which made its debut at number 10 with a weekend gross of £106,493.
Sadly with a top 15 which grossed only £5.1 Million this is the lowest total gross for the UK box office in many a week, I think this is just pent up demand for the upcoming Bond movie No Time To Die which should give cinemas a massive boost and get people back in the habit of going cinemas after the pandemic closures.

Third weekend at the top for the latest Marvel character as the movie takes an excellent $42 Million from 44 countries, a 41% drop over last weekend.

Warner Bros. release Director Denis Villeneuve telling of Frank Herbert's classic Sci-Fi novel across 24 countries this weekend and the movie makes its debut at number 2 this weekend with $36.8 Million.
The movie is getting a slow global release with much of the world getting it in October, and this could mean the film gets a long global shelf life.
Previews have happened in America and the UK for the movie and the reviews have been favourable which could make it one of the top global movies of the year, although this also happened with Villeneuve Blade Runner 2049 and that movie didn't perform as well as expected.
Chinese movies have done exceptionally well this year and another hit movie from the country makes its debut at number 3 this weekend with a gross of $18.6 Million from a single terretory.

The first trailer for the fourth The Matrix movie has hot the internet from warner brothers, and as you might have expected the trailer poses more questions about The Matrix Resurrections that it answers!
The trailer features Keanu Reeves very heavily, and as you expected he looks just like John Wick rather than Neo, but is there a reason for this, what reality is he living in and is he a washed out version of his former self?
It looks like he's been having trouble recently living in The Matrix, and when an apparent chance meeting with Carrie-Anne Moss's Trinity it looks like they don't know each other!
The red pill and the blue pill are a major feature of this trailer and it looks like Mr Thomas Anderson has been taking the blue pill of late?
Directed by Lana Wachowski goes it alone this time but it looks like the slick style of the original The Matrix back.
The movie is released December 22nd 2021 in cinemas and on HBO Max, we'd recommend this one at the cinema.
