New films released at the UK box office weekend of Friday, 26th April 2019 - Avengers: Endgame, Eighth Grade and Bel Canto

This weekend, Friday 26th April 2019, there are 3 new films released in the UK looking to hit the box office and challenge Shazam! for the top spot.

Eighth Grade

Avengers: Endgame

First up at cinemas this week is new movie Avengers: Endgame directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo who also directed Avengers: Infinity War in 2018 which grossed £70,804,892.

It stars Robert Downey Jr who last starred in Avengers: Endgame and Chris Evans who also last appeared in Avengers: Endgame.

Eighth Grade

Next on the new release schedule is Eighth Grade, this new movie stars Elsie Fisher and Josh Hamilton.

The film is brought to us by new director Bo Burnham.

Bel Canto

Also out this week is Bel Canto which is directed by Paul Weitz who directed Grandma in 2015.

It stars Julianne Moore and Ken Watanabe.
